CURTAIN WALLING

HYBRID Curtain Wall is a medium rise curtain wall system. It is a stick system that has been designed to achieve high weather and thermal performance.

Its mullions and transoms are solid engineered timber construction to the inside of the building. The outside is aluminium for durability. The mullions are designed to run through for optimum strength and the transoms are easily front loaded on site using a unique jointing method.

It is compatible with the SD Commercial Doors for high use entrances.

The Hybrid Curtain Wall system is capable of carrying glazing up to 36mm and can also accept window and door inserts from the HYBRID window and door range as well as the SPW300 and SPW600 range. For aesthetics, the SMRF Frameless top hung vents can also be used as a top hung window insert.

A range of mullion sizes are available to allow for greater spans as required.

The system is compartmentally drained and has been fully weather tested to the requirements of CWCT and will meet the thermal requirements of the Approved Document L.

The systems have been developed and tested to suit most environments. Commercial and retail applications, transport terminals, health service buildings and educational establishments are just a few of the markets.
