A slick user-friendly navigation system ensures that each item of information can be quickly accessed via a single mouse click. “Our customers and suppliers know what they are looking for, and we want to make it as easy as possible for them to find the information that they need,” said Sharon Edwards, Managing Director for CS Aluminium Windows, with responsibility for the new website.

“We designed the site with the needs of our on-line visitors in mind, and we tried to minimize navigation times while optimising the quality of the information that they can have access to — including products, services, photos, location details and contact information”, Sharon Edwards added.

The site was designed by local multi-skilled IT company Mackintosh Consultants whose Managing Partner, Dr Nigel Mackintosh, noted: “We were extremely honoured to be selected by such a prestigious business to design and develop their high-profile new online presence. We of course ensured that the site complied with all relevant website standards, including HTML and CSS. However, unlike many other website design companies, our corporate policy fully recognises the requirements of the UK Disability Discrimination Act 1995, and we thus also ensured that the site complied with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines in order not to discriminate against people with disabilities but to instead enable them to fully access all the features of the new website”.
